Programs: Internship

Internship programs are for current university students or those who have recently graduated who want to gain experience in their field of interest. Internships typically last for up to 12 months, but could vary depending on circumstances. This program is ideal for Participants wanting on-the-job training to supplement their educational goals.

The State Department allows Internships in the following fields:

  • Agriculture, Forestry, and Fishing
  • Arts and Culture
  • Construction and Building Trades
  • Education, Social Sciences, Library Science, Counseling and Social Services
  • Health Related Occupations
  • Hospitality and Tourism
  • Information Media and Communications
  • Management, Business, Commerce and Finance
  • Public Administration and Law
  • The Sciences, Engineering, Architecture, Mathematics, and Industrial Occupations
